A sophisticated aluminium frame is blended with a refined geometry and ultra-reliable components to make the Orbea Avant H40-D disc road bike a perfect choice for the longest road rides, whether they be in the mountains or at a sharp pace across rough surfaces.

The aluminium frame had a hydroformed construction and variable wall thickness to increase its stiffness to weight ratio markedly. Smooth welds link the tubes to give a clean aesthetic, and the kinked top tube design improves comfort by shrinking the rear triangle to increase vertical compliance. The carbon fork blades complement the frame by also possessing high lateral rigidity and by decreasing the effect of vibrations caused by irregular road surfaces. Generous frameset clearance permits the use of up to 35mm wide tyres while the completely internal cable routing gives a sharp, racy look.

An endurance-inspired geometry keeps the rider fresher for longer while durable but svelte alloy wheels give a lively but robust ride experience. The AL6061 frame tubing of the MX is carefully shaped and manipulated to put strength where it’s needed without unnecessary weight.

Internal Cable Routing not only gives a cleaner appearance, it takes advantage of full-length cable housing for great performance with lower maintenance.

MX is loaded with features that help ensure longer life: Sealed headset and BB bearings, a replaceable derailleur hanger, painted and assembled in the EU, all with the Orbea Lifetime Warranty.
