The Genesis Croix De Fer 20 Disc Gravel Bike is an exceptionally versatile option, just as at home on the daily commute as it is adventuring across continents. At its heart is a Reynolds 725 steel frame with mounts for mudguards, a rack and fixings for Anything cages on the forks so it is capable of being loaded up safely and securely for trips away from civilisation. The steel’s natural compliance helps keep the ride comfortable when off the tarmac, supplemented by clearances for tyres up to 50mm and 45mm wide, front and rear respectively.

Gravel-specific, Shimano’s GRX 10-speed drivetrain offers a huge spread of gears that can cope with steep, off-road hills and fast downhills with equal aplomb whilst the TRP Spyre-C mechanical disc brakes add reliable stopping power and easy servicing. Kenda’s Booster tyres and Jalco wheels are both tubeless-ready, making the switch to no inner tubes simple and painless.
